Scattered Fragments

I'm not sure if you've noticed but I always try and match my outfit with the backdrop in my post. Which is why I found this graffiti wall that had mounds of debris laying around the site nearly perfect for this look. Here I give to you my definition of an effortless outfit. I literally threw on one of my favorite graphic t-shirts, some black ankle grazer jeans, tied a button up around my waist and chucked on my leather jacket to complete the look.

My favorite part of this look; however, has to be my ankle strap Vince Alexa heels. These shoes are different from your run of the mill ankle strap scandal because they have this cool strap detail that exposes your heel in the most playful manner.

Jacket: Zara

Hope you all are having a WONDER filled day!

Needs Wants + Desires

Coat: Zara
Brassiere: Need Supply
Pumps: Saint Laurent
Trousers: River Island

Hello beautiful people and Happy Tuesday! Today I have complied a few random items I have been eyeing up for a while during my daily browse of the fashion websites. There is no real rhyme or reason to these items what so ever, but I thought I would share them with you anyway. By sharing some items from my current wish list with you all I would hope to give you a little more insight into my style.

For quite some time now I have been longing for a pastel coat. The delicate hue instantly lightens your mood during the drab fall and winter months and will bring some light to a fall outfit. Moving on the next piece, I'm also a sucker for anything that mixes beauty and functionality, as this piece of lingerie so wonderfully does. The intricate detail in this piece only makes it that much more desirable. Now one item that will probably strictly remain a desire of mine are these gorgeous Saint Laurent pumps. I'm in love with their shape and the stud embellishment really lends something to the overall appeal of the shoe. Tracking back to a more subtle color palette, this nude tote is the perfect fall accessory for anyone who carries their entire life in their bag as I do. This artisan crafted bag is a piece that will last for years to come and will bring life to many a dull outfit. Last but certainly not least are these tartan trousers. I have been looking for the perfect pair of plaid pants for a few months and I think I just may have found them in this pair from River Island. And while I was in pursuit of a pair of green tartan pants, this pair in the classic red will work equally as well.

I hope you all don't mind the absence of original photos today but don't worry there will be a new fashion post up in a couple days.

Hope you're having a good day!

Amid the Art

Sweater: Asos
Shorts: Lucca Couture
Hat: Urban Outfitters
(basics include sheer tights and black ankle socks)

Hello again and Happy Friday! Are you all drawn in by this amazing art work like myself? I live in a town where the art is more than abundant as I'm sure you will begin to see in my post. So today I bring you an impromptu OOTD and a little sunshine. I thought this outfit really had a sports luxe feel, in that this vivid sweater is nearly the exact color of a tennis ball and the perforation in these shorts favors your typical sports jersey.

When putting together an outfit, I love playing with different textures.  I particularly enjoy doing so in the fall/winter months when it's easy to get stuck in a rut and just throw on anything that will keep you warm. With that being said, any day I can get away with wearing shorts and tights I will do just that. I also threw on my tiger print hat to keep my head warm, and some socks and boots perfect for trekking around any concrete city.

Hope you're having a great day!

Brass v. Steel

Hello again! Today's look is an easy outfit I pulled together to take on another beautiful fall day. As the day started off quite nice I began with a metallic sleeveless top and added some warmth with these black wax coated jeans. As a student on a rather treacherous campus, I don't normally wear pumps during the middle of the day, but every now and then...why not. I thought these nude heels really added something that completed the look.

So I wouldn't completely freeze as the day wore on, I made sure to grab my favorite Joe's denim jacket with contrasting wax coated sleeves. A classic jean jacket is one of those staple items for fall you can casually throw over any outfit. This piece can used both as a way to maintain some warmth and at the same time can dress down any 'formal' fit.

Jacket: J Brand
Top: Cheap Monday
Denim: Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Schutz
Bag: Asos
Jewelry: Need Supply, Asos, Nasty Gal, Skullduggery rings, etc.

Hope you're having a great day!
